What is pilates?

 

 

Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, pilates is a total body conditioning workout suitable for people of all ages and body types.  It engages and refreshes the participant with intense challenge for the mind and body.  Blending Eastern and Western philosophies of physical and mental conditioning, pilates is the original functional exercise.
