"As you know, I discovered Pilates (which I had never heard of before) while on a cruise ship last December. The sign in the shipboard gym said that it was good for back problems which immediately caught my attention as I have suffered from chronic back pain for many years. I signed up for four sessions after the instructor assured me that by learning the Pilates Method I would never again have to visit a chiropractor or take pain medication. At the end of the four sessions I knew that I was getting relief and wanted to continue. When I returned to Tampa I searched for a Pilates trainer on the internet and found the B-Fit Center.
In the four months that I have been training, primarily with Christine Borchers (who I highly recommend), I found incredible relief from my back problems. In fact, my back was getting so bad that I was contemplating giving up golf as it was getting more and difficult to play a round without pain medication. This past weekend I felt confident enough to attempt a three day, 5 round golf marathon with a group of friends. Much to my pleasure and total amazement I went through the weekend TOTALLY pain free and played some of the best golf in many years, even breaking 90!
